Press conference - Strasbourg, European Parliament

Press conference at the European Parliament in Brussels - how transparent the contracts between vaccine companies and the European Commission are. Have you seen what these contracts contain?

In a press conference with five other MEPs, Cristian Terheș presented to the press and public opinion around the world pages “drafted” from the contracts signed between the vaccine companies and the European Commission, as MEPs and the public had access to they. As can be seen from the documents shown, entire pages of these contracts are completely or partially blackened, making it impossible to read what they contain.

“How can you, as a state, force your own citizens to be vaccinated with medical products of private medical companies, products that are purchased following contracts between the European Commission with those companies, contracts to which, however, citizens exposed to this infernal pressure to get vaccinated do not have full access? “, said after the conference Cristian Terheș, PNTCD MEP. “Not only did the citizens not have access to these contracts, but also as MEPs we did not have access. Romanians MUST ask the senators and deputies of the Romanian Parliament if they saw these contracts. How can you vote to impose vaccination on people when not have you seen these contracts? “, added Terheș. The link to the full conference, which includes the public positions of all speakers, as well as answers to press questions, is in the comments. Cristian Terheș voted in the European Parliament against the imposition of the Green Certificate at European level, accusing that this certificate will violate fundamental rights and freedoms. We further present the transcript with those declared by Cristian Terheș in the press conference: You know, [as MEPs] we were elected “by the people”, that’s what the Treaty says, but we must not forget that we are elected “for the people”. We need to keep in mind what is best for people, because that is why they elected us here in the European Parliament. All these leaders of the European Parliament like to brag about themselves, every time I go to a press conference, and say that this is the most democratic institution in the European Union.
The question for them is: Is that really so? You told these people in Parliament, when you chose to deprive them of their fundamental rights, why did you do it? You see, we have all these treaties, which my colleague was talking about, which stipulate that no medical treatment can be imposed on you unless you decide on it FREE and following an INFORMED CONSENT. Clearly, what these [leaders] are doing now, making access to Parliament conditional on their possession of this Green Certificate, violates this freedom of people to decide what they want to be vaccinated or tested with. But there is the other aspect, and the question I ask not only you, in Parliament, but also every European citizen, to ask your own governments, is: Were you properly informed about what was happening? Because we had many debates, at the beginning of this year in the Parliament, where we requested full / unrestricted access to the contracts signed between these vaccine companies and the European Union. And I quote from an article in Euractiv, which says the following … an article from January 22, 2021, which says the following: “The contract signed between the pharmaceutical company and the European Commission in November 2020 was made available to MEPs on Tuesday in a form drafted after the company agreed that those contracts could be investigated.”

What was said? WHAT WAS SAID? So is a medical product being imposed on European citizens without them knowing what is in these contracts? Not only do they not know, but we, as MEPs, do not know what is in them! After a lot of pressure in Parliament, as the article says, these contracts have been made available to us and the public. I want to show you some of those pages and tell me if it’s okay for European citizens to be exposed to this situation where they can’t go to work, they can’t go into a store, they can’t take their children to school. , may not move freely from one country to another unless, in one case, they are vaccinated with one of these products. So here are the contracts that were published by the Commission with the approval of the companies. It’s something unheard of. And now I’m going to show you the pages … These are the pages … See? Ivan: They call it transparency! So this [transparency] is the fundamental, right? Principle of democracy. I ask you, is this transparency? Do you see anything? That we do not see! The money of European citizens was given by Ursula von der Leyen to these [pharmaceutical] companies. What happened to that money? Where is the money? Why aren’t they open to people and completely transparent so that we all know what’s going on? The difference between tyranny and democracy is very simple. When the government knows everything about you, it’s tyranny. I know what it’s like to live in tyranny. When you know everything about government, it’s democracy. We are here at the moment, praising this institution, as the most democratic institution in the European Union, but not even we, as MEPs, as directly elected by the people for the people, could see these contracts. As I said last week, we are here for you and we will fight for you! I know that many of you, from all over Europe, are having a hard time at the moment, just as many of you who work for the European institutions are having a hard time. As a former American president said, “freedom is only a generation away from being extended.” We live in that kind of time now and it is our duty and our calling to fight for freedom! Thank you!”
